We believe every child deserves to feel a genuine sense of belonging, security, and connection. We are committed to creating a warm, inclusive, and nurturing environment where children feel safe to explore, express themselves, build meaningful relationships, and develop the confidence to reach their full potential.
We recognise that positive relationships are the heart of quality early childhood education. Why Choose Sunshine Early Education
We are dedicated to provide quality care
Our thoughtfully designed indoor and outdoor learning environments encourage curiosity, creativity, independence, and discovery. Rich in natural elements and open-ended learning opportunities, our spaces invite children to investigate, imagine, problem-solve, take appropriate risks, and engage in meaningful play. We believe children learn best when they are actively involved in experiences that reflect their individual interests, strengths, and developmental needs.
Guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), our curriculum is responsive, play-based, and intentionally planned to promote children’s social, emotional, physical, cognitive, creative, and language development. Through reflective practice and continuous improvement, our educators create engaging learning experiences that inspire confidence, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning.
About the Teachers
Meet Our Team
We proudly acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we learn and play and honour the continuing connection of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to Country, culture, and community. We embed Indigenous perspectives into our curriculum, fostering respect, understanding, and appreciation for Australia's rich cultural heritage.
Our Curriculum & Educational Approach
Our curriculum is guided by the VEYLDF and EYLF, supporting each child’s identity, wellbeing, learning and communication. Through play-based learning, intentional teaching and hands-on experiences, we encourage children to explore, create, problem-solve and develop independence. Inspired by Reggio Emilia and Montessori, we celebrate every child’s unique interests, strengths and culture while working closely with families to support their learning journey. Our goal is to create a nurturing environment where children feel confident, connected and excited to learn.
Our Commitment
As passionate early childhood educators, we create a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment where every child feels valued, respected and supported to reach their full potential. We celebrate each child’s unique identity, culture, strengths and interests while working closely with families through open communication and collaboration. We embrace diversity, community connections and sustainability, while continually learning and growing as educators to provide meaningful experiences that help children learn, grow and thrive.
Our Daily Rituals
We believe rituals play an important role in the early years, helping children feel safe, connected and confident. Through meaningful moments such as welcome gatherings, sharing circles, music, mindfulness, storytelling, meal times and nature experiences, children build relationships, develop independence and express themselves. Our rituals celebrate each child’s culture, achievements and individuality, creating a warm environment where every child feels valued and a strong sense of belonging.
Activities & Experiences – Learning Through Play
As early childhood educators, we provide meaningful experiences that support every child’s wellbeing, learning and development. Through creative arts, music, sensory play, STEM, literacy, numeracy, nature, cooking, gardening, imaginative play and physical activities, children are encouraged to explore, make choices and build confidence. Our educators respond to each child’s interests, strengths and needs, creating a safe, inclusive and engaging environment where every child feels valued, heard and empowered.

I had both my kids here, and loved it. Made it easy for us to meet a lot of amazing parents and kids. The school has such a home feel, and values a play based routine. It would be worth your time to visit this places.

Sunshine Early Education is a wonderful nursery, my Son is so happy there and asks every day if he “is going to nursery today”, even on on weekends! The staff are so welcoming, very professional and highly experienced.
