A gentle beginning to your child’s learning journey

Our Bilby Room is a warm, nurturing and welcoming space designed especially for children aged 0–1 years. We understand that leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step, which is why we place strong emphasis on creating secure relationships, trust, comfort and a sense of belonging.

Every baby is unique. We take the time to understand each child’s individual personality, routines, interests, cues and developmental needs, ensuring they receive responsive and personalised care throughout the day.

Nurturing Relationships

Our caring educators build strong, meaningful relationships with every baby through gentle interactions, cuddles, conversations, songs, smiles and responsive care. We follow each baby’s cues and provide reassurance, comfort and encouragement as they discover the world around them.

Learning Through Exploration
Babies are naturally curious learners. Our environment provides opportunities for babies to explore through touch, sound, movement, sight and sensory experiences. From tummy time and reaching to grasping, rolling, crawling and exploring, babies are encouraged to develop at their own pace.

Talk, Sing & Read

Every interaction is an opportunity for learning. Educators talk, sing, rhyme and read with babies throughout the day to encourage early communication, language development and connection. We celebrate those first sounds, gestures, smiles and words.

Sensory & Play Experiences

Our babies enjoy carefully planned experiences using age-appropriate resources, textures, music, natural materials, mirrors, books and sensory play. These experiences encourage curiosity, discovery, concentration and early problem-solving.

Individual Sleep & Rest

We recognise that every baby has different sleep and rest needs. We work in partnership with families to understand your child’s individual routines and provide a calm, safe and comfortable environment for rest.

Individualised Care

From feeding and settling to sleep and play, we respect each baby's individual rhythm. Our educators communicate closely with families so that your baby experiences consistency between home and the early learning environment.

We believe families know their children best. We value your knowledge, culture, traditions, routines and aspirations for your child. Through open communication and genuine partnerships, we work together to support your baby’s wellbeing, development and learning.
